Thierry V Here's a FCP X Generator version I made for someone else: tokyo-uk.com/Motion/TokyoDepartureBoard.zip To install, move the entire unzipped folder to your User/Movies/Motion Templates/Generators folder. It's got a few more slots (with the ability to choose how many you want) and few extra bits and pieces. But this is quite a "heavy" Motion project so don't expect it to be super-fast in FCP X.

Really amazing one. I made one myself. One more thing, i'm using a 2018 mbp 15 and after adding a camera and motion blur, the software goes extremelly slow!!! Even clicking a menu will take half min. I output to a video file and use it in fcpx. Is it normal or did i make any mistake on such a 4-second clip?

BTW, the exporting takes about 100min :( cpu usage is low, and gpu is almost idle.

I am afraid it's an effect that is very slow to process, especially if you turn on motion blur. Try reducing the shutter angle for the motion blur down to 90 degrees or even less. It reduces the time to render a lot and it also often looks better too.

simon, I have the project almost completed but did something where you cannot see the outline of the indent...looks like the inner board. any way you can assist on this...I cannot figure it out #frustrated

HI Simon. i just download your fcp generator and i like it. I would like to add more slots. I open the project in motion but i don't know how to do. Can't i just dupplicate the last slot? Because after the slot 12 et 13 have the same letter. How can i make it? Thanks a lot

Wasn't the departure board (or a similar effect) still a live font in Motion 4?

Sebastian Matthias Weißbach I don't remember - I never used Live Fonts. I just found that they looked too nasty. Apple's mograph design has always been seriously bargain basement.

Simon Ubsdell Well, Apple certainly kicked them out for a good reason, agreed. I only remember browsing through them, too - Motion certainly has stronger suits.
