FINALLY! Straight to the point and what I was looking for - how to export editing features for holders. After 20 videos of nonsense and people just showing "my new MacBook x", "working on my new..", "my sponsor..." .... I found answer of my question. Thank you! Don't change anything. Very helpful video! Just have a small question; is there a way to make custom shaped Drop Zones? I have a slightly altered circle shape that is a PNG. it's a very particular shape and I am hoping there is a way to convert a PNG into mask. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Great video. How do I duplicate drop zones? I'm using a slideshow template from Motion Array that has 12 drop zones in the inspector on the right. I want to add additional images but I don't want the same images to repeat. If I extend the timeline it is still only using the original 12 images. How do I extend the template to use more than 12 images?

Do I need to add an image or video into the drop zone in order for the pan and scale option to show up? I created a mask on a drop zone but it doesn't show me that option to create a parameter. But I know ive done it before without adding any content to it, I just forgot how haha

Well, you did it! I have been so very impressed by your tutorials I have, today, cancelled my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and paid for Apple Final Cut Pro (I already own Apple Motion). I'll be buying Logic Pro next month when my Creative Cloud subscription expires (after over 20 years with Adobe!). Please keep the tutorials coming and I hope Apple recognises the positive contribution you make to their customer community. Even better if Apple's appreciation toward you took the form of $$$! I am looking forward to the absence of those monthly subscription payments to Adobe on my credit card. It was your tutorials that made me want to switch from Adobe products to FCP + Motion and, soon, Logic Pro.

Under the export settings, choose Apple ProRes 4444. That gives you the transparent bkg

I would love for you do some day do a tutorial more in depth with Drop Zones. As it is, which is horrible in my opinion, you cannot choose video from your bin that has not been slowed downed or even worse not color graded yet. Makes no sense at all. I am wondering if there are any "Tricks" to doing it, I find myself having to make a ton of Compound clips either in my timeline or using them from the bin which just seems stupid. Why the heck can't they make it so you can use your clips from the bin and then color grade them afterwards? Just makes it so much more Cumbersome to say the least...
