Just this once I'd like to see this story show the groom get mad and the people leave and start shunning the snobby family because the protagonist is the groom's friend, not their boss or CEO and everybody's disgusted by how would treat an ordinary person. Having the protagonist secretly being a CEO always guts the impact because it makes it seem like the only way to get back at the people who mistreat you is to be a CEO or own a successful business or win the lottery or become rich. It's super unrealistic.

@rosestorm36958 ай бұрын
I'm never tired of the secret CEO trope. Having said that, I have thought that it would be really nice if people get upset not because it's a rich person being targeted, but just that the antagonists have such a skewed sense of what is socially acceptable.

This sibling is trying to work at a bank...but do they know that if you have a theft conviction, banks aren't supposed to hire you? That threat about throwing away the MC's belongings is basically a threat to commit theft & destruction of property.

You won't get hired at a bank,if you have bad credit either. The reasoning is you're more apt to steal. A friend of mine who told me this worked in a bank,for 20 years.

She may have talked about her family but not necessarily given names. But one thing I always found strange is this : on the wedding invitation they do put the full names of the bride and groom ? And in each of this kind of story people arrive to the wedding no knowing who’s marrying who. That’s pretty stupid.
@karenbrown14854 ай бұрын
@@cathyb1273 I've looked through all my wedding invitations, and every one of them has just the first names of the couple. This is probably because they only invited family and friends (and sometimes work colleagues), all of whom would have known who the invitation is from. 😊

It had almost been a decade since Rachel saw her sister. People do a lot in a year. It wouldn't been hard to be decent. Treating someone (sister) like trash because they didn't go to college. Rachel will repeat what she and her parents did to her sister, to her own children in the future, if they decide not to college.
