If he had took care of his parents by renting an apartment for them at the very least, it was quite possible that he would have lived a happy life. All the wife wanted was the house, alimony, and child support, but he wanted her to watch HIS parents. He took her kindness for a weakness and she got her revenge.

I LOVE how Lisa’s parents handled the entire situation. Lisa and Dylan got everything they deserved. Dylan could have been honest about everything and just set his parents up in an apartment or a nice retirement home instead of doing all of this. There is nothing wrong with being spoiled but parents should be careful how far they go with it. I’m glad Lisa is finally learning how to be financially independent. Debt can really take a toll on relationships but then again they deserve it.

Plenty of men put on an act until the wedding, and then the mask comes off and they reveal their true nature, sooner or later. I know of one case where a man tried to rape his new wife on their wedding night, simply to show her "who is the boss". She fought him off and escaped, and got the marriage annulled. If she keeps going, she risks losing the admiration of her children as well as letting that sour bitterness eat her up inside out. And just being real....if she messes too hard with his livelihood it could mean less alimony for her & less child support for her children. The courts base those figures on salary amount. Either way I understand the inclination. I’m just not one to burn a bridge I’m still on. js
