Max got what he deserved, I feel like his mom & new wife deserve some punishment. I want to imagine something leads to by some miracle the real father finding out about the child & he's just someone that didn't know this person was cheating cause I feel bad if the kid ended up with another terrible person.(So the dad being an innocent victim of this cheater) That or something causes extended family that isn't terrible people like Max & his mom to get custody of the baby, I dunno just something to lead to the kid to be in the custody of better people. Max's mom gets upset/devastated the grandchild she desperately wanted is gone & while the wife could care less she knows that baby is the only reason at this point she's still around so tries to threaten Max to do something or she'll leave. Max finally snaps as OP expected, he hands custody over then once it's all done with starts yelling at his mom & new wife about wasting his money, making his life a living hell, how no one helps him, that he loved them but they made things worse & how he wishes he still had OP cause at least OP cared/loved him. He's yelling so much his mom & wife are in shock & can't do things like point out he's why OP isn't with him anymore.(Probably cause OP told the mom everything & the mom back when she hated the new wife probably didn't let her forget the wife is at fault for her son leaving the better wife) The mom probably wishes she had done more & the wife regrets so many things now that Max snapped & is going off on the two. In the end the mom tries to be to do shit around the house & the wife has to give Max money for forcing him to pay the guy she threaten him to pay* as he's now preventing her from divorcing her until it's paid off.(He also takes control of his money again) In the end he gets the money & the three have had enough so everyone splits to be miserable elsewhere alone. Max is finally free & has money but he doesn't have a kid anymore nor his mom & wife, OP will never return. The mom not only lost her home, cushy life thanks to Max, Max & her new friend but also the grandchild she was desperate to have.
