At first I thought police are sexist, because they shamed my brother for filing, saying you are a 'man, what can she do to you", but the same department did this to my coworker whose husband struck her and their child. Unfortunately, you have to do their job to prove to them she is a risk, and even still, she got out. The law didn't view her as a risk.

The frustrating part to it all is that the retraining order wouldn't be issued if nothing of harm was done to the victim (which is stupid because there is MENTAL and EMOTIONAL harm). So getting a restaining order isn't easy unless you have evidence or other such thing that proves that they are dangerous to you.

What is happening here? This story makes absolutely no sense! So is Ryan a real person or not? I thought the big reveal, that her boyfriend Ryan is only hug pillow meant that Ryan wasn't a real person. If that was the case, how could any of the rest of this make sense? Pillows do not have mother in laws, nor can they get married. This isn't a Sixth Sense kind of reveal, because there are no double interpretations that can be made by some of these events. And why isn't anyone in the comments mentioning this? Or are all of these comments made by the story tellers themselves? I appreciate the attempt to create a different story, but since most of these stories are the same except with different names, and now different objects, try to be creative with the story itself, not just the people.
