@@eiramesor6853 never got an actual name. So not much could be done. This all happened through high school, in a time when getting restraining orders was unheard of. And it was creepy,,as she would sleep outside my window at times. It all stopped when I went to another state for college and to this day, I wonder who she really was. There was a series of calls, but this was before caller ID, let alone cellphones, but it DID get my family insist on getting caller ID the second it was available.

Tina is probably one of the worst people from these "childhood friend thinks we're meant to be but it doesn't go her way", it's a nice plot twist that the other girl isn't OP's girlfriend when usually it would be. I'm fine with if they had been dating but it's a nice plot twist either way. Trish & OP deserve their happiness with their partners, they seem like nice people. Tina & Trish's parents need to take Tina to a psychiatrist given everything that's happened, we're lucky she hasn't resorted to stalking. Something tells me Tina is going to be the shut in she claimed Trish was for a while, unlike what she believed about Trish Tina is doing it out of depression that she lost the guy she was obsessed with, can't go insult her sister anymore & everything she made herself believe & refused to stray from was wrong so there for she is wrong.

Ohhh boy, I believe I know the Reddit story this is based on; the OP of the Reddit one was _convinced_ that the husband of the family next door was being 'trapped' by his wife, whom the OP dubbed a 'career woman' and the OP was so sure the husband was just _miserable_ being at home with two kids (around 8 and 10?) and was a lonely man to boot. She started dressing up when she would randomly go over to the house, just to be 'friendly' to the poor lonely man enslaved by his heartless wife. The 'poor lonely man' knew what OP was playing at right from the start and never let her in. Then the wife's car was hit on the way home from work one day, and she ended up in the hospital. It turns out she had some broken bones and internal stress injuries, but was going to be a full recovery. BUT at the time of the police phone call to the husband, they didn't know if her condition was internal or not yet, and the husband was told to just come to the hospital ASAP. Given that he didn't want to take his small kids into the trauma room, and the fact that all the family was rushing to the hospital too, the guy had no choice but to ask the cray-cray OP to mind his kids. This woman then told _an 8 and 10 year old_ that their Mother was dead, and that because she was the woman of the house while the Dad was away, that meant she was like a new Mum, and they had to play games like hide and seek with her and pretend they were all together like a family already. I seriously _seriously_ wish I was kidding... Long story short, the hubby found out and got a restraining order, and the cray-cray OP came _seething_ onto Reddit, wah wah waaaaaaaa-ing about "How could he do this to me? He had me meet his kids - that meant he was ready to leave that hospitalised deadweight!" Again, _really_ wish I was making this up. That OP was in Relationship Advice (I think) wanting to know how to make the husband notice her more from when they first met over the fence. 😬😬😬 I know the protagonist in this story isn't married, and there was no car crash, but the OP was just as deluded about her 'beloved' as Tina was about her 'darling'.

People like Tina are really scary. I've known several girls like her. A couple of them decided they wanted to be me or live my life. It was beyond weird! One one them even overheard me telling my best friend how I couldn't have kids. But my bf (now husband) already had a son & didn't want any other kids. She actually told me that she would be my surrogate & we didn't even need to go through a clinic. She said she could just start sleeping with my bf until she got pregnant! These loony people and mistresses need to learn the definition of "Star-Crossed Lovers". I don't think it means what they think it means... From Wikipedia: "Star-crossed" or "star-crossed lovers" is when two people are not able to be together for some reason. The term also has other meanings, but originally means that the pairing is being "thwarted by a malign star" or that the stars are working against the relationship.
