Not providing heat in your house for your child is considered child abuse. Also, electric blankets wasted so much electricity. Lastly, many people think it is a myth that one gets sick or flu like sickness from being cold, and most of the time, that is true. However, if they get hypothermia and / or frostbite, that can lead to a weakened ammune system, then make one susceptible to cold or flu like symptoms.

In my country, we have a demand portion where they charge us per KW of load sanctioned, (currently US $ 4 per month for 3KW). The actual cons is charged extra per unit. Then we have a fuel charge adjustment (they assume $ x per ton of coal and the actuals may be $ y) and a 9% tax. We cut down on units consumed from the utility by having a solar water heater and 1 KW of solar panels The husband in this story is a total buffoon. Electricity is a basic necessity like water and food in our modern society. May be he should cut down on eating out, unnec holidays, drinking every day and keeping a mistress

1:07 minutes in a 160$ a month for the electric jesus christ wish mine was that in the uk we pay almost £500 a month for gas and electric, why is he so concerned in 160$ jesus try paying what i am, seriously was a prick! He's so cheap, she should have noticed before they got married. You can't hide that level of cheap. Where I live, there's a moratorium on using natural natural gas in new buildings. My house is total electric. My electric bill, like my water bill, has a minimum. the minimum for both together comes to almost $200.00 each month. If I don't use the minimum amount, I still have to pay them. There is no way, other than having the service disconnected, that I can get either below $60 per month.

I wish our electric bill was only $160 a month. Of course we live in Las Vegas or the 10th circle of Hell as locals call it. We have level pay here for electric that is the average of 12 months of bills which can still be high here given that the temp is 100+ during summer & don’t have bad winters here level pay can still be high. I may hate spending money much & especially I hate shopping which my husband loves but at least I’m not cheap like the first a$$hole. My Dad was a bit of a cheapskate also my FIL is too but they weren’t this bad. Of course I’ve heard stories about how my FIL took his current wife on a first date to somewhere he had a 2 for 1 coupon so take that as you will.
