Did that family seriously think that their plan would work flawlessly? That Anna would just go along with the deception just so Sinead can go off and live happily ever after? Boy, the arrogance and stupidity on the part of the family is off the charts.

I really liked Anna🤭.. at first she had me worried when she agreed with their crazy demands.. but I'm glad she wasn't a complete doormat
@norarivkis25134 ай бұрын
They've basically got two versions of the female protagonist who is trampled at first. There are the ones who are genuine doormats at first and then eventually grow a backbone, and then there are the ones who are quietly plotting behind the scenes from pretty early in the process. I like the second category; I usually can't stand the first even when they do eventually get better.

Especially Sinead... finding out her legs were in the air AGAIN and got another bun in that oven had me laughing, THEN hearing the mother go off on her, and how it ended with what Marie said and I think Marie was holding back as she forgot to say "Because she can't keep her legs from being in the air!"

Miracle babies can happen. My mom was told she wouldn't be able to have kids quite young, she ended up with 5 of us. The family doctor was surprised when my granda happily informed him which of sibling(he thought we were our uncle's kids orginally) came from! I suspect she had a good internal giggle at that one. Though people did also mistake my grandmother as being our mom instead, really didn't help that she looked young for her age and we looked like tiny copies of her and mom. It was honestly kinda funny.

My wise grandmother Georgia( dad mother. I greatly miss you) said that a marriage or relationship built on lies will fall like a deck of cards and shatter like glass. She used to complain that today youth don't have much manners and respect because of so called parents like Marie raised their spawn to be heathens and fools. She encouraged me to try to correct other children and young people before they screw themselves over because they don't have strong role models or guides

It wasn't necessarily such a bad idea to have the aunt and uncle who can't have biological children adopt the kids from their sister who had twins she's not ready to raise. But a sane family would have talked about how everyone felt about it, especially the prospective parents (all of them, both biological and adoptive) without pressuring anybody! Then they would have been calmly open about it with anyone who was considering joining the family after. As soon as they tried to pressure Anna and lie to Garrett, they put themselves firmly in lunatic territory.
