When someone says, "Don't contact them," when claiming someone is making demands, it's a huge red flag. That's similar to a thing abused children are told, "Don't tell" when telling is the best thing to do.

100% true! "don't contact" basically is another phrase for "I'm-doing-something-bad-and-asking-them-is-gonna-reveal-my-stupidity"

Or when you're at a party, and someone discreetly pulls a weapon and holds it to your back, and says, "Don't make a scene. We're going to quietly go outside, and..." You SCREAM YOUR HEAD OFF. Sure, they might panic and use the weapon on you, anyway, but there's a CHANCE they might not. If you go quietly, there is NO CHANCE that they will not use the weapon on you. They have you where they want you. But in the crowded room, with witnesses, there's a chance they'll flee without attacking. And if they DO strike, there's a very good chance that someone will give you first aid. If they don't kill you instantly, you have a good chance of surviving it, with modern medicine, especially if there is a doctor/nurse/EMT or other medically trained professional in the house. Even a vet. If someone tells you "Don't do X," that is exactly the thing that will mess them up the most, and the thing you MUST DO. But if you can do it behind their back, when they're not expecting it, all the better. But don't wait too long. Wait JUST until they're not looking or listening for you to do the thing. So, the husband texts you (he's not there, and you can maintain two conversations at once), and says, "Don't contact so-and-so about this," then you respond with "Why not?" and other such distractions, while you immediately open a new conversation with so-and-so, and send screenshots of the other conversation, and ask, "What's this all about?" Screenshot all text conversations, and show them to the other person, whenever there is another person involved, especially if the original texter says, "I talked to them, and they said..." and you NEED to confirm with them that they actually DID say that. Because there's a good chance they said nothing of the sort, and even the opposite.

Forcing his wife to live with his parents, against her will, AND against his mother's will? That has got to be the stupidest plan in the history of plans. Did he REALLY think that two women, forced to live with each other, would NEVER TALK WITH EACH OTHER ABOUT IT?! Of course they're going to TALK! But I suppose he figured they wouldn't talk until he was well clear, and then, the statute of limitations would apply. Because it's so short, you know. Like, three days, or something. And after ANY amount of time has passed, you HAVE to forgive and forget, because that's the LAW! The people who say "But time has passed! That means you have to forgive and forget, and if you don't, then you're a bad person!" are fools, idiots, and planning to hurt you all over again. Especially if they don't even make an attempt at apology, BECAUSE "time has passed, and you have to forgive me, anyway, so no way will I say sorry." Not that this is what he did here, but surely it was his plan. I've seen it so many times.

TLDR; In a lame attempt to not pay alimony to his wife Julie, cowardly husband Andrew tries to hide his affair with another woman. He planned to make Julie live with his parents to get a divorce so they'd accept the new lover afterwards. Of course, it all blows up in spectacular fashion, with Andrew broke and without his lover.

Ahimsa no different from them saying they plan to pay alimony and/or child support all in one big lump sum. First I don't believe you can do that but I could be wrong. But of you could that's thousands of thousands of dollars. The stories act like it's no biggie I'll just get a quick loan or get parents to pay you the tens of thousands of dollars for alimony and/or child support and pay in one huge lump sum

How hard is it to just say "I'm not HAPPY anymore and would like to part ways!!!" I guess for some people it must be like getting all 32 TEETH pulled out at the same time. That's why I never lead people on when I'm not interested in them anymore. I tell straight up with NO CHASER!!!
