Except for gifts and surprise parties, yes. But it's just the cheaters attempting to redirect blame; 'oh, you're spying on me! that's wrong!!' and distract their partner from the real issue. If said partner is sufficiently used to being emotionally abused and manipulated, the cheater can build up an argument enough and make the innocent party feel guilty. DARVO tactics.

Facts. I've had someone complain to me about how he spent 300 a week to take this chick to a hotel because she had a dude so they couldn't go to her house and he lived his his uncle and aunt who didn't play that cheating shit. Something like that actually happened in my family. My grandmother eventually remarried. As she was slowing down as to age, that schmuck she married had to take on more responsibility and they grew distant to each other. He actually billed us for taking care of her for all those years to the tune of $ 45,000. We in turn, billed him for years of cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc to the tune of $95,000. He backed off immediately.

For some reason I expected the guy to divorce her to go be with his affair partner & then come crawling back as he realized he needed his wife. Glad she doesn't have to deal with this anymore. I feel like the side chick got off easy(yeah her parents are paying for shit but they're suing the ex-husband over their daughter getting sued for being the affair partner) but something tells me it's going to not go her way. I have an interesting comment. In some alternate scenario where the detective sees that he is NOT cheating and he really is all alone in the hotel room just sleeping every night like he said then EVEN IF that is what ended up happening the marriage is STILL RUINED. If he finds out that she hired a detective to spy on him then he will know that she does not trust him and if there is such a low level of trust in a relationship where she felt the need to hire a detective then their relationship is pretty much game over. So basically the moment a spouse hires a detective to spy on their spouse the relationship and marriage is doomed EVEN IF THE PERSON IS NOT CHEATING.

Tip: Female voice is very lovely, but way too soft and slightly overacting. Videos like this are not about realistic acting, because that is too distracting from the fact that these are supposedly text-messages, and slows the story down too much. Just lively reading with a little emotion to get the point across works better for this genre.
