The third story is maddening: the mother was so obsessed with living with her son that she ignored her daughter and ignored her husband's existence until he died. She isn't there to displine the wife, she's there cus she thought her son has money and would care for her. She didn't even bother getting support from her daughter cus she's just a leach who believes men make all the money. If the MIL had all these resources to try to track down her son's whereabouts, it makes you question why she wasted her money on her ultimate goal of "leaching off the more profitable child" when she could of save that money up to put herself in a home.
