Nicole is a drunk, plain and simple. Apparently she’s the breadwinner, but how she could possibly hold down a decent job is a mystery to me. Cody needs to run, not walk, fast and far from this marriage and toxicity. If he’s buying his train wreck of a wife alcohol, he’s an enabler, he is trading her health and his pride for a roof over his head. I’m not sure I like him very much even though he’s supposed to be the hero here.

Nicole. A "little bit of wine" is maybe a glass every couple of days or weeks. A couple of bottles every day is a straight up sign of you popping pills in the future on top of the wine when you walk up to a guy, slurring, and saying "Hey baby" and you get insulted when he says "Ma'am, I'm not interested in grandmas." because you now look about 20 years older than you really are

If one setback was enough to completely wreck her entire sense of self worth, and drive her to alcoholism, then the company made the right decision
@cjopticon23789 ай бұрын
And if I'm being blunt here; DID SHE CRACK HER HEAD CASE!?!? Just losing it once shouldn't be enough to do this, as there is always a chance to learn from and improve, even in a competitive race. But truthfully I am just not liking how all VC parties are treating the company; no follow-ups on behalfs, no hints at talking to the company or anybody who could be mutual friends in the company. It all just sounds like all parties are just taking her word for it. I mean, she wants us to believe that this one setback is the catalyst for her change, based on information she relayed to only her husband, who is up to the ending being treated like a servant dog and is now leaving her? At best, it may be exactly what she said it was. At worst, she lied to even her husband about the actual disqualifications about her promotion to make sure her enslavement snare was as powerful.

Assuming that the wife had never faced failure, those that didn't end up being hit harder. It's a psychological thing, I guess. She never experienced failure, and she let it rot her. On the reverse, those that only experienced failure would be as effected that no matter how hard they tried in something, they still failed. It's a real thing.
