But I still have my phone out of Gemini's control and still get more plus keep the Assistant functions I love. If you called me, you would speak to the AI before you got to me. Not a voicemail, a VOICE, asking you questions checking in with me if I'm available and ultimately having a very brief as needed back and forth conversation (if you don't lose your sht and freak out about the future first) before wishing you a good day and saving the whole convo+transcript then texting me what's up. Apple should learn from Nokia's past missteps, where overconfidence led to significant market share losses. By prioritizing exclusivity over user loyalty, Apple risks repeating history and driving away its dedicated customer base. Apple seems aware of that they are behind the AI integration across its products, to be a rushed introduction of generative AI looks like a panic move?. Naming its AI function "Apple Intelligence" and adopting the slogan "AI for the rest of us" may seem clever, but restricting AI features exclusively to the iPhone 15 series contradicts this inclusive message. This selective approach is seen as unfair and disloyal to the majority of iPhone users who are left without access to these advancements. Moreover, Apple's new "personal intelligence" tool looks like not groundbreaking compared to competitors where more sophisticated AI offerings. The decision to limit AI features raises serious questions about Apple's strategy and the rationale behind this exclusivity. It risks alienating loyal Apple users who may feel neglected and prompt them to consider competing brands that offer more inclusive and advanced AI solutions.

Although in the fine print of RRSS and media users it is said that all content that is published on the platform, the authors or producers cede all rights, but that is not entirely clear... many platforms have broken laws but The regulators strangely look the other way.... Will someone brave bell the cat? Because in a general case the data centers, internet providers, lines, etc. would be collaterally involved. AI hype is the latest revenue generator
@yaboipookiepook5 ай бұрын
The excessive praise and glossing surrounding Apple and its AI have been overstated and very much oversaturated. It is premature to claim that Apple has surpassed its competitors when they have yet to produce any concrete results. Their efforts have been limited to demos, interesting concepts, and a sophisticated marketing strategy. Apple's reputation has preceded it, and people are eager to jump on the bandwagon, which is why the hype train is so prevalent. I have never witnessed such widespread delusion. Over the past week, people have completely disregarded the accomplishments of others and are fixated solely on Apple's achievements. Let us not forget about Google, which possesses all of these features and more, and a platform that is equally extensive to Apple's. We are treating Apple as if they are the only ones who have accomplished this, despite the fact that they have yet to release anything. Let us wait and see what they actually implement before we start heaping praise upon them to such an extent. Let's come to our senses! Google is second to none when it comes down to this AI revolution than any other player in this market besides Open AI, let's not make no mistake when it comes down to it
@justinuwaidia58735 ай бұрын
I mean the difference is Apple is building AI capabilities within its device not to mention it is providing a genuine use case for AI chatbots. The ability to have a personalised mobile assistant in a world where everything is based on content creation and social media all on device puts Apple ahead of the competition by quite some distance. The iPhone is the greatest invention of this generation and once they introduce your own personal assistant on your device, nobody else will be able to compete. The metaverse isn't going to be adopted and neither will neuralink/merging with machine. So the next best product to have a mass adoption will be a device with your own personalised AI Agent. Apple is such an amazing company who have really taken the time to think about the needs of their consumers before coming out with a product or new innovation. Not to mention, it requires everyone to upgrade their hardware in the coming cycles. Haven't really seen a use case for AI agents/chatbots. Sam Altman has already said he believes that currently most products we're seeing are glorified chatbots. OpenAI have also been struggling to build a sustainable business model due to the lack of usecases of chatbots.
