The best way to use the battery pack is to fully charge your phone and then put the fully charge pack on. This will extend the battery since it will use all the power from the battery pack before it starts using power from your phone. Plus it doesn’t charge your phone past 90% this way, once the % falls below 90

Great info, that’s exactly how I use it. First 5 hours ( starting at 6 am ) of my work day, the mag safe is on my phone, by the time I leave work my phone is between 80 and 90 percent depending on usage. ( 4pm) Totally agree with you regarding draining your phone down to use it doesn’t work. I did that once and was advised that I was using that incorrectly. It’s more intended for power management.

I think the best way to use the MagSafe charger is when you take your phone off the charger . If I’m out of house it will keep your battery top off the battery pack last about 5 or 6 hours before it die . By the time I get home I have between 96 and 98 percent on my phone . And with the 20 watt charger it takes a hour to charger the MagSafe battery pack . I seen a lot of videos saying 20 watt chargers cost 20 bucks . I found one on Amazon extra long cord 8 bucks . Great video Is really good to see someone being honest about the item. Is a smart battery . Not an power bank If you need something to just charge and phone ok . The MagSafe charge and manage battery usage .

Hey nice review but I have question. While using MagSafe it does make the phone little warm (battery) so don’t you think the heat will decrease the battery health. Suggestions please?

I have one doubt. Is it good for the battery health that a battery is keep on charging when it drops just 90%? Is there any option for us to charge battery pack when the phone drops below 40%?

with your use case, only charge when you know you not gonna use it, why not just get a small battery pack that can support wire charging and get a short wire? It would be way more efficient, lower temp and faster.

This a great video but I don’t think charging it on 40 percent is good charge it when the battery is fully it will keep your battery top off . I got my 20 watt brick on Amazon for 8 bucks and got it the next day .

Just keep using it with your phone, it will update eventually(apple says up to 2 weeks.)
