Red flag the moment the husband didn't support his wife about getting some distance from the sister.
@Native-KittyАй бұрын
Annie was definitely taking advantage of her sister by coming over all the time, eating all the food and not paying for anything. The sister is not wrong in wanting some time alone with her own family.

Why doesn't Anne say "thank you"? Even i say thank you to my mom when she makes me a meal. What's wrong with showing appreciation to the person who's home you visit? And why can't she visit every once in a while, not every weekend. People need space.

So op should be nice to her sister but her sister doesn’t have to be nice to her? Don’t come to my house every week and eat up my food. And if the husband doesn’t agree he can go live with the sister. He apparently cares for her more than his own wife.

The notion of a flawless marriage or relationship is a myth. There's no set formula for success; what works for one couple may not work for another. Yet, I've discovered that there's always a way forward, even in the most challenging times. Five years ago, my wife and I encountered significant hurdles in our marriage that nearly led to divorce. Despite the adversity, we managed to weather the storm and emerge from it with our bond renewed and revitalised

It's called overstaying your welcome. When you visit too often, too long, and show no appreciation for the hospitality extended to you. I had an issue with my brother because he had perfect timing when it came to showing up to visit at the worst possible time when my wife and I were newlyweds. He always arrived when we wanted some especially private time during the weekends. It never failed. It only stopped when he got married.
