Let's see how lucky she is to continue where she left off by the time she finishes paying off all her debts and accumulating 6 months'worth of savings and buying a new place and a car for herself.

@@nickislade5533lots of tramps and cheaters in America. Unfortunately it’s not as easy to sue the cheaters in MURIKKA as it should be. Alimony should be a necessary part when partners cheat while in relationships. I think Asian countries have it right when it comes to alimony.

@@amberleeannalee1999 Alimony isn’t a punishment in America. Not what it’s for, or how it works, and Only a spouse would be required to pay alimony if applicable. Most likely not though. Stories originated in Asia, but are portrayed or implied as being in America most of the time.

When we lived on the economy in Germany, our next-door neighbor was an elderly bridge player. She knew that I had grown up in OK so she asked me how to pronounce "Arkansas." (She and her bridge buddies had a bet going.) I told her that, even though it looks like Are-KANSAS, it is pronounced ARE-Ken-Saw. The next day, she was almost dancing in the hallway! She won the bet!
