I would vote to include the dark floral that you rejected. There are some wonderful apples that have red, yellow and often some green. I’m from the apple state Washington. You could also use some light pink for the applesauce-my grandmother used to put cinnamon candies in her applesauce which made it pink.

You inspired me to pick up a subscription :) And I really liked what I saw in your video --- then I got my first digital magazine and the apples are just adorable when you see the magazine pictures - I couldn't see it as much in the video - but in the magazine I can really see what you were going for in the contrasts. I am so excited to see that you're making this small project. I saw this and marked the page when I received my American Patchwork and Quilting magazine in the mail. It just jumped out at me immediately for a great small fall table topper. Beautiful! Instead of apple sauce in the jars, I'm going to use other fruit fabrics I have....cherries, lemons, etc.
