Flashbulb moment!!! Love this project and No time in my quilt schedule to add in for 3024. But I have planned in 2024 to use 1 panel for a quilt. I keep 7-8 panels all nestled in a cute basket in my sewing room as a visual reminder of this particular goal for 2024. I had found one of the panels last year at a quilt show. They had an area over on one side of the building where they had an area reminiscent of rummage sales. And it was jam packed with quilters! I bought several, each for $1.00. One is a farm themed and vintage era Debby Mumm type of panel vignettes and the vintage fabric in the coloring way back then. It is truly a wonderful record of how the quilting industry has developed and transformed over the decades for our insatiable love of color. Voila! Adding apples and applesauce jars may be just the perfect touch to add color and content to bring this panel up a notch for interest and visual appeal. I a'm currently finishing a quilt with a deadline of the holiday weekend then on to a very special quilt for our oldest son who just completed his paramedic training and I need to get it made and finished in time for his 'pinning ceremony' early August.
