Sony is a great brand, It is One of the few android brand which can compete with apple in terms of Build Quality. But I feel its high time for them to acually start listening to us customers and get to know what we really want, Else, They will remain as doomed as now. XZ2 & XZ3 don't have headphone jacks and their phones are so curvy that its difficult use it while keeping it on flat table. I cant see headphone jacks going away as of now. Hope sony notes this down.

When the iPhone 4 came out, that’s when apple caught my interest. To me, at the time, was so revolutionary (i was a kid give me a break) and from then on i was fascinated by it. When i started to go “ehhhh i dunno” was when the iPhone 7 was released. It was different, sure but removed the headphone jack just seemed bizarre. Then, the 8 and 8+ came out. I was still not seeing much difference, but look at me now typing this from an 8+. The X just too expensive for literally the same thing. Now Apple is selling a phone that has no adaptor for headphones (dongle thing forgot what it was called do not care), doesn’t include the quick charge charger, literally one of the major things these phones where advertised for, and a cheaper model that is literally the screen of an iPhone 4 , still no Jack, and is $700. In conclusion. You’re paying for a $700+ , which will cost double in some countries, for a phone that can’t do half of the things that where advertised because you have to buy the extra things. Offers a cheaper model that costs $700 when you can get a good samsung for a better price that can do exactly the same thing, with better screen quality, and a has a damn headphone jack. You could just make your own phone at this point. And you’ll have some extra money for a sandwich at subway.

Technically they didn't 'stretch' the iPhone 4 retina display (960x640).. it's was increased for 5, 5S, 5C, SE (1136x640). Then again for 6, 6S, 7, 8 (1334x750), and now the biggest increase to Xr size (1792x828). If it was stretched it would have a lower PPI. All those generations retained exactly 326 PPI. However, I do agree the Xr should have had at least a 1080p screen.

The XR has less ram compared to the XS's, slower LTE, lower IP water resistance rating, aluminum instead of steal, the glass is different on the XR compared to the XS, no 3D touch, no HDR screen support, it's screen is only HD+ resolution, no quick charger, or quick charging cable in the box, and no 3.5mm audio dongle in the box. The XR is too much money, especially for what it's missing.

Games still RUN BETTER AND COME FIRST OR STAY ON iOS despite the Pocophone's hardware. Fortnite is just download - sign in - play on iOS, whereas you'll be waitlisted on the Pocophone (if you haven't played on a Galaxy Note 9 before) seemingly until December. And when games are released on Android after a significant delay from the iOS release, the graphics look TERRIBLE. Just ask Square Enix.

Apple products have never had the highest specifications or performance, their biggest strength was always simplicity, user-friendliness, durability, reliability and beautiful design. Their personal computers and phones have had near top-level specifications during some product cycles and generations, like the first iPhone and some of their Macbook Pro laptops. But, if my memory serves me correctly, it's always been easier and more affordable to purchase higher-performing Windows and Linux based PC's, and more recently, faster Android-based smartphones than Apple electronics. What Apple customers have been loyal to them for in the past was reliability, design, and "decent" to "fast" performance in a better-looking but not-bleeding edge package that "just worked" out of the box. More recently, Apple's marketing and engineering strategies seem to be heading toward an *even* *more* deceptive business model. They've become overconfident that their customers will just buy it no matter what performance their product includes as long as the marketing is clever enough, I think their popularity and super-loyal customer-base has made them too brazen in their attempts at selling weaker products for extremely high prices. EDIT 1: A lot of comments are claiming that I'm an "Apple Fanboy" or that I'm "drinking the Apple Kool-Aid". But, I don't actually like Apple products, I've always been a Windows user and custom PC builder, and I've preferred Android over iOS from day one. Anodyne Melody My big problem right now, is that despite many android users hating on apple, androids all follow apple’s footsteps with a lot of things from a design perspective. I don’t like not having a physical button, so why are all the samsung and LG phones following that? The truth is that android manufacturers dream of having iphone’s reputation. They know that wealthy people always get iphones because of status, and they want to tap into that. Iphone users upgrade way more than android users. It’s a gold mine. I, an ios user, will be stuck with the 8 plus, because I can either get a horrible new 720p iphone or I can get a lesser good iphone wannabe experience with android. That’s the catch 22 a lot of apple customers go through. I know many will be annoyed at how I talk of android, but unless they increase privacy, remove bloatware, and synchronize android updates, that’s how many of us will view it.

I think the younger generation who is growing up in this technology is figuring things like this out quickly. I honestly don't think Apple will do well this year on any of there phones. There is not enough change. People are sick of the same thing over and over. Is this new iPhone going to bring me a new iOS experience? No. A iPhone 5 can do everything a I phone x can do. Give our minus a few small features camera stuff. iOS runs the same. I know a bunch of people who are still on iPhone 6 cause there has never been a major update to the experience or design really to get them to jump to a new device. Sure the notch, but now you've broken up people into people who can't afford it, people who hate the notch, and people who know iOS is iOS on any device no matter hardware design.

Don't forget that they didn't even include the lightning to 3.5mm adapter and the fast charger with the new iPhones just because they can. You have to buy those separately for $19 and $49 respectively which is a joke. Also, don't forget they even removed the 3D touch in the XR model. Maybe the idea is to slowly phase out legacy devices and if they keep including adapters then people won't abandon their legacy devices? They included the adapter for iPhone 8 and x because phone jack was removed. So, if you are upgrading form 8 or X then why would they include phone jack adapter if those devices came with it or they both exclude phone jack anyway. Something to think about or consider.

There’s a major difference between pixel density and resolution... the iPhone 4 by comparison was 640p if you want to call it that and was significantly shorter. Sure we’ll be able to tell a difference but it’s not exactly a difference that’s worth $500 where I live (iPhone Xs). The Xr will be just fine, we had that same ppi in last year’s iPhone 8, and this year we’re getting a little bit of a bump

apple fanboy, there are lot difference between 720p and 1080p. you won't notice only beyond 1080p (technically human eye can't distinguish beyond 2k) as i switched from 720p to 1080p last year i could notice lot of difference. don,t be a dumb fanboy

Thr galaxy s4 had a 1080p display at 441 ppi, thr iphone XR will have a 720p display at 224, the galaxy s4 didnt coat more than 650 for everyone I know who had one, and the iphone XR costs way more today than a galaxy s4 cost back in 2013, for a lot lower specs, and even internals, yeah it's faster, but you sont have the same things that Samsung, let alone android has provided to its users for years lince like android kit Kat 4.1.1, were in 9.0.1 right now and still getting more...
