One of the reasons I bought the Series 7 watch was for the fall detection feature. My Seres 6 called 911 when I had a hard fall in January, but the paramedics couldn’t find me easily because of the problem with my address. When I learned, a couple weeks after my fall, that the 7 has the exact location feature, I decided to purchase that. Thanks for your tips in this video.

If you hold down the phone ping button it will flash for phones light as well. Works really well for trying to find your phone in the dark

Some other functions like Sleep time , Oxygen sensing, ECG measurement need to be addressed as well. I bought a 45m Series 7 GPS only watch, it seems the section to set up the photo selection is a little different. I am not sue if any different in between the series 7 GPS versus 7 GPS & Cellular.

You can go directly back to the Home Screen from any app or menu by simply smacking the face of the watch with your palm! ✋🏽 It’s pretty awesome..

It’s probably the main setting on the iPhone. Settings app, general, keyboard then turn it off. Keep in mind if you turn it off it will also disable it on the iPhone

Question about email notifications (iPhone 13 Pro Max and Apple Watch Series 7): If I check emails on the watch they still show as unread on the phone. Annoying, and requires me to re-check the emails on the phone to clear them. Doing the reverse, checking emails on the phone does clear emails from the watch. Hmm, got me stumped. Mainly because I didn’t use the mail app but I feel like it should. You have mirror set in the mail options in the Apple Watch app?

@@DHTV I did at first and wasn't receiving any email notifications. Switched to Custom to Allow Notifications and started receiving them on the watch. At first, I saw an email on the watch and cleared it. That still showed a notification on the phone. So, I then started to "read" the emails on the watch thinking that would clear the phone notifications, but, that hasn't worked yet, either. This is still new to me switching from Android and I'm sure it'll get figured out in time. I saw your video and thought I'd write to see if this was a known issue and what the easy fix was. I just got a 7. My first Apple Watch. How do I get the screen to move up and down and swipe left to right. Can’t even swipe up to get the shorts. If my I phone 11 is near my watch I can only talk on my watch. But I prefer to use my phone when I’m home. This is all so confusing. I’m considering returning it. Thanks

I’m not sure what you mean move up and down? What app won’t it move in? When your Apple Watch is close to your phone it should allow you to talk on your phone too, just use your phone to answer the call not the watch. I’m a bit confused with the scenarios you are having these issues in. Give me some examples and I can better help.

As I understand it, if you get the cellular model then you need to get a plan with it. Otherwise you get the wifi model and it works off your iPhone only when it’s in range of it.

Hi, I just got the Applewatch 7 and it bugs me that the screen fades after about 5 seconds. Is there a way to stop that?

You can set it to 70 seconds but that’s about it. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap display and brightness and the last option “wake duration” allows you to switch it to 70 seconds. If it was never to fade, the battery would never last all day.

@@DHTV I tried that when I got the watch and it still faded out at about 5 seconds. A friend of mine has a series 6 and hers does the same thing. I can still see my screen, it’s just not bright like when you first pull your arm up.
