I just purchased a Series 9 last week (45mm, no cell, sport band). It's my first smart phone so I don't have a point of comparison, but I really like the look and function of the device and it fits nicely into my Apple ecosystem. The update that enable double-tapping was released to the public today and so far it's working fine.
