Congrats. This video is helpful and cutting the tape backing to apply it in stages is an interesting idea, but I would do two things differently: 1) You might find it much easier to remove the watch face completely (as some other videos do), so the watch screen isn't hindering your work while you apply the adhesive tape to the watch. You can then re-attach the watch face before removing the other (blue backing) of the adhesive. 2) Before securing the watch face, you should charge and confirm that the new battery is working. You wouldn't want to re-glue everything in place only to find out that the new battery is faulty, or that you didn't re-attach the connectors properly.

Looks so complicated without taking the screen off at the adhesive part im scared ill damage a cable or the screen if i remove it

why not just cut the adhesive into 4 individual strips and attached separately?

That's possible, but you don't have a full waterproof protection in that case.
