It’s lovely to see a traditional horse and van . Don’t let it die out.

Lovely horses and wagons. But at the end the flashy racers, not so much. Rather rough. That Dapple grey! Beautiful.

I’m proud of my traveller ancestry and want to reintroduce my daughters to our culture. My great grandfather emigrated from the midlands and when my mother separated from my father no one told me anything about our heritage, culture or ancestry, I had to track everything down from my grandfathers obituary

If you read up. Driving horses rarely get it. Ridden horses suffer worse.

They look after their horses better than many inexperienced horse owners of today who overfeed and underwork their animals , rug them up unnecessarily , feed them supplements , keep them in stables for too long .

Kaylaevans yes we have heard of it as we have these people that are called vets also some other people called farriers and our horses are treated very well better than gorges who make race horses jump a hurdle at high speed and when they break a leg they kill the horse great horsemanship that's why I would never sell a horse to a gorger

Not at all. Horses love to have a job and love to spend time with people. It’s not a kindness to stick them in a stall and only get a short ride on a weekend or a couple of times a month! These horses see the countryside, graze, have the companionship of other horses, and have good steady daily exercise. They have a better life than any show horse.

Christine : I don’t think you are very knowledgeable about horses . Judy is spot on . Far too many people nowadays treat their horses as pets , lawn ornaments . I spent many enjoyable years doing endurance rides of 25 miles and upwards on my Welsh Cobs . They were always excited to be around other horses and were never sick or sorry . All lived to a ripe old age still fit and healthy : the last one is still alive at 31 and as lively as ever . The secret : they lived out most of the time and were fed natural food , just like the travellers horses .

Christine, you obviously have very little idea about caring for horses. Perhaps you should keep your opinion to yourself.
