Really dig the hoodie, AG. =) The one time I can recall Applejack doing different voices is her human self back in the first EqG movie, when she used balloon puppets to show why competing against Sunset was a bad idea. All three of these shorts were funny and sweet in their own ways. AJ and Dash are back to competing, but this time they aren't harming or inconveniencing anypony else, and Pinkie manages to get one over on them, lol. Pinkie's being her usual silly self, but she just wants her friends to have fun as well. I imagine Twilight might have teleported them all out of the barn if they couldn't find the key. AJ being able to do so many different voices adds a nice new level of depth to her character, and I really like it. Besides, I sometimes use different voices when I read aloud, so I can relate, lol

In Mystery Voice I 100% thought that was Rainbow Dash doing Mane 6 impressions, then I heard the bad Rainbow Dash impression lmao... I guess I wasn't completely wrong lol. Ashleigh Ball is such a good VA but Hasbro really wanted to give her a break, I totally wasn't expecting those voices at the end hehe but it was so good.

Frankly, the second shoer angers me without how much of Pinkie's character and character growth it outright ignores. She is not so oblivious that she'd think everypony is having fun when she was clearly the only one. Rarity's expression as she was counting the hay strands was evidence enough that no fun was being had. She also would not ignore that she'd put so much pressure on Fluttershy that she cries. Finally, she would have noticed how terrified her friends were for the surprise, not ignored it in lue of "yay, I'm having fun". The Escape Room is horrible and shows the writer doesn't know anything about the character, nor seem to care. And that's not even mentioning the whole "we're trapped inside with no way out at all until the end" thing is moot. Twilight could easily teleport them out if needed and SHOULD have remembered that. And I doubt even Pinkie would have been able to find a way to prevent teleportation out of the barn. The second short just really rubs me the wrong way.

You do raise valid points. I really didn't put too much thought into these, but yeah, I was kinda annoyed by Pinkie in this. The thing is, the way Pinkie was acting isn't necessarily out of character, but more out of time for her character. The traits she exhibited here were closer to a season 1 or 2 version of Pinkie, and ignore how much she's matured since then.

Happy New Year Applegeek! There’s gonna be a lot to look forward to in 2019 like S9 of MLP, more EG content and more and I’m excited for them to come around! These shorts were pretty fun. Though, the one’s that stood out to me the most were “Mystery Voice” and “Triple Pony Dare Ya.” I honestly(no pun intended) didn’t expect Applejack to be doing all those voices behind the mic but, she did catch me off guard and I respect that. She certainly is a great storyteller especially with her impressions. Great reaction too!

She doesn't remember what it is because she made sure to forget everything so she could play too. It's Pinkie don't question it. That is the very definition on UNfun, Pinkie! Twilight and Applegeek put it too nicely. 7:34-7:38 I wouldn't ask, Applegeek. That whole short was pretty pointless - both figuratively and literally. 7:41-7:54 You said it all for me, Applegeek. Mystery Voice 8:02-8:05 This is the only one of the shorts that's intriguing to me. 8:09-8:14 Rarity holding a class on making Hearth's Warming dolls. Also, hi Young 6. Also, Applegeek's reaction. 8:14-9:04 Rarity's class is constantly interrupted by announcements over the intercom. 8:18-8:25 Applejack is intrigued by the yodelling club and who's voice he just heard. 8:25-8:32 A different voice makes another announcement. 8:25-8:27 Rarity's face. 8:32-8:36 Applegeek notices the different voice. Also, it can't hear you, Rarity. 8:35/8:42-8:46 Rarity's face XD 8:42-8:58 Yet another different voice. This one sounds like they're trying to imitate Iron Will and create an echo effect. Also, Applegeek's reaction. 8:59-9:04 Rarity slams the door so hard the speaker falls down. Also, Sandbar's shrug. Also, Applegeek's reaction. 9:04-9:42 Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy have all come to confront the announcers. 9:07 Rainbow Dash flies into Rarity. 9:17-9:19 You say with an angry face, Fluttershy. 9:19-9:30 Fluttershy is trying to teach her class how to feed a hedgehog, but the announcements keep startling it into a ball. 9:21 Applegeek's reaction to a cute hedgehog. 9:22-9:27 Another different voice. Yep, much like Ashleigh Ball herself, she's is a top-range voice actor. Who knew? Overall, these shorts may not have been as great as the Equestria Girls ones. But they were a nice little treat. My favourite one, of course, was Mystery Voice. Since it shows a side of Applejack we've never seen before. The other two were somewhat entertaining, but their unoriginality dragged them down a bit. I also wish there'd been more than three shorts because it left me wanting more. Anyway, Happy New Year everypony! And heres to a great 2019.
