You weren't kidding you did mod it. Seems like it was a fun fixer-upper.

Yeah. I think it's going to be way more useful with the pickup. That way you can practice quietly but if you want to sing with it... you can. 😆

Nice mods! Looks like a fun little instrument. Especially after you worked your magic on it.

If you want to fill in those holes, Bondo or most other auto body fillers are common for repairing holes in 3d prints. Alternatively, you could use a soldering iron to melt a scrap piece of 3d filament into the holes if you happen to have or know someone who has some.

That's a good suggestion. Thanks for checking out the video.

That didn't take long! I knew you were going to mod it! The next step is to put in a psycho-knob, LOL! By the way, what are the inside dimensions of your carry-on bag? I have a couple of ideas for a travel uke for you. Maybe we can collaborate on it!

It's hard to get an exact measurement because the case is not perfectly rectangular but it's about 13"x19" (give or take due to the rounded corners). I looked it up, and it appears the size limit varies slightly by airline. However, most domestic carriers adhere to a metric of 22"x14"x9" or smaller. I know mine fits with a little room to spare on Southwest, American, Alaska, and United airplanes.

They dont need too. leave it to us circuit bending weirdos! They had a single string pizza shaped guitar/uke at Walmart clearance, it looked like it needed a piezo, I immediately thought, kale, lmao. I always look around my Walmarts for quirky gear, there was a time when a fender squire amp package was sold at Walmart, they also had cheapo keyboards and electric drums. these days its a toy pizza 🤣 im all for anything to get kids into music, but cmon Walmart, lets get these kids some cooler gear. like maybe some midi sequencers since the kids are all into electronic/hip hop instrumentals now a days. maybe a toy sampler? idk. @@musicalmiscellany

Nice Smokey Amp. I have one of those too but it really needs a volume control to tame it. Your next mod?
@musicalmiscellany
@musicalmiscellany 8 ай бұрын
Yeah. The Smokey is a great little amp. I've heard of folks making an input (or output) attenuator. That probably wouldn't be too difficult. Thanks for checking out the vid.
