Having seen them live recently, I find it hilarious that towards the end of the interview Xavier mentions that they don't know how well their new tour will be received. It was the best live electronic performance I have ever seen...

I love Xavier's explanation/answer to the French sound question. It's so obvious in their music that they hold a deep love and admiration to the Anglo-American music they grew up listening to. Then they put their own unique French touch to it. I hope they know they helped influence Anglo-American artists in return.

With all due respect, they are not even close to being the best electronic band of all time especially when Boards of Canada, Autechre, or any other Warp Records icons exist. Wow, so many valid points about the process of music making in this talk! The nativity of beginnings is gold but get's lost along the way and the more you know, the harder it actually get's.
