Sounds about right. Yeah, Robert is one of the nicest guys. I'm just a regular fan who went to their shows in Houston and in Austin in the early 2000s. I met him a couple of times at some shows, just small talk, and I kid you not about 13 years later when I was in Athens, Georgia I ran into him at a concert and he remembered my name and the cities we met at. Amazing musician but also just an amazing person.

SE TENÍA QUE DECIR Y SE DIJO: Apples in Stereo ha sido una banda a la que me he enganchado y viciado completamente. Dentro del mundo indie, Belle and Sebastian son los únicos que para mi gusto los superan, el resto de bandas de este género hay varias que me encantan (como por ejemplo Miles Kane o Franz Ferdinand entre otr@s), pero para mí, Belle and Sebastian 🥇y Apples in Stereo 🥈. Otra banda del proyecto Elephant 6 (al cual pertenecen Apples) que estoy descubriendo y que me están encantando algunas canciones, son Of Montreal. Pienso que son muy de este estilo, y por eso me están gustando mucho. Sin embargo hay otra banda de ese proyecto llamada Neutral Milk Hotel que no me gusta nada, y eso que lo he intentado porque me gusta descubrir música nueva y no quedarme estancada en lo mismo. Pero aparte de que sólo tienen dos discos mientras Apples in Stereo y Of Montreal tienen más, todas sus canciones me suenan iguales, me parecen muy lentas y aburridas, y además con unos arreglos y unos efectos especiales muy extraños. Con esto no quiero decir que esté en contra de los lentos ya que Belle and Sebastian tienen muchos a lo largo de toda su carrera, pero los de ellos por lo menos tienen arreglos maravillosos, de cuerdas y vientos y en ocasiones hasta oboes y fagots, y se te ponen los pelos de punta cuando los disfrutas, cosa que con Neutral Milk Hotel no me ocurre con ninguna canción. Y lo peor de todo es que para la mayoría del público indie son la mejor banda de Elephant 6, y a algunos les gusta incluso más que Belle and Sebastian... 😭😭😭😭
