This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I was so happy to see Evie stand up to her MIL and husband. The constant reference to her income and her parents’ income by the husband and MIL was so rude and manipulative. I don’t think she did anything bad to the SIL, but the MIL’s comments comparing the size of the houses and incomes obviously caused bad feelings. Evil’s husband wasn’t the worst, but he let his mother manipulate him into keeping it a secret that she was moving in until she did. When you marry your most important relationship is with your spouse, not your mother, letting a parent come between partners is a very quick way to divorce.

I really enjoyed this story, and I would have done more or less what Evie did! However, this situation might have been avoided by using a few subtle hints like, when Sue stayed for dinner, Evie could have said, "We should make this a monthly thing for you to come to dinner (OR maybe even for a weekend)". She could also suggest a monthly girly lunch with Sue - "provided the subject of my house does not come up in conversation in any way, shape or form!!!".

Reasons why I don‘t listen much to apple text: - waaaay too long videos. I miss the shorter ones, straight to the point instead of these videos were it‘s 60 minutes hints/hiding things/bad stuff happens and the karma happens in the aftermath? - was too lil karma. I didn‘t listen to over an hour long video just to have 2 minutes karma happening - weird format? Is it happen in real time? Online? It‘s quite confusing. - I just freaking miss the old videos before the time all the videos got deleted and their channels were empty. The videos were different but I couldn‘t get enough. I liked the shorter, straight to the point, with better endings. The videos were shorter (20-30 minutes) but more were uploaded each day.

Why do people call there in laws Mom and Dad. I know that in some cultures they do it,but if i get married I definitely wouldn't. 😊
@CrownedOne9195 ай бұрын
Some do it out of respect for their spouse, or due to permission of the parents-in-law esp. if they are close. Some do it if they have no parents themselves, or knew the family during childhood & were welcomed into the family warmly b4 the actual marriage. Usually, it's implied to be acceptable due to the nature of "legal adoption" into the family as a member via marriage, i.e. son-in-law, daughter-in-law, etc. But there are some people who would rather they be called Mr. or Mrs. (first name or last name) becuz they're not comfortable with "outsiders" .
