If you put it in 1.25x vel, it gives a better impression on how their movement would actually have looked like. Idk why they always make CGI feel like it's in slow motion.

My guess: pterosaurs fought in the air for territory, either with themselves or opponents. Getting hit by a crest in the air will break hollow bones and hurt/kill the animal.

Honestly the alpha male thing sounds like a lot of stress, so I also feel an affinity for these sneaky yet ambitious beta males. Still beats being a gamma male.
