Discovering La Bidonnière: The Perfect Camper Stop in Saint-Malo! 🇫🇷🚐
Appliance Engineer’s dream stopover at La Bidonniere Mont Saint Michel Camping, Camper Park offers a serene and practical rest, perfect for recharging both your devices and your soul while soaking in the beauty of this historic site.
After a few days on the road from Calais, I’ve arrived at a hidden gem in Saint-Malo: La Bidonnière, a peaceful and well-equipped aire for campers. For just €14.95 per night, you get access to everything you need like 6 amps of electricity, fresh water, grey water and toilet cassette dumping facilities, all in a beautifully maintained space with plenty of room to turn even the largest rigs 🏞️.
What makes this place even better is the serene atmosphere. The only sounds you’ll hear are birds and distant chatter, making it the perfect spot for some rest and relaxation. If you’re traveling with pets, there’s plenty of space to let them roam freely 🐕. And just a 25-minute walk away is the stunning monastery, which is lit up beautifully at night. The view from here is spectacular, especially if you park in one of the spots with a panoramic view! 🌅
In addition to the peaceful setting, La Bidonnière offers some great perks like fresh croissants and baguette bread delivered three mornings a week 🥐, and even pizza on select days 🍕. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Plus, if you prefer not to walk, bikes are available to rent from April to September so you can easily explore the area 🚴.
