The horse shoe stands for OHMS the sound bar under the horse shoe is what stands for continuity. Just in case you have a Klein unit that may confuse you guys. Not 100% sure but ohms is what you use to check your compasitors for resistance 🤷‍♂️

You are wrong, you use resistance on capacitors to check short to the body of capacitors. Capacitance is used to check if capacitors are within range. Hope this helps.
