what should the resistance read (in ohms) on a good DC31-00111A stator?

What is yours doing? I have the same model number stator. My washer will not spin, it will slightly rock back and forth making a high pitch sound, I tested the stator and I am getting 11.4 ohms in any combination of the 3 connectors

@@ericc8895 I get 12 ohms on mine. Resistance is influenced by the temp. Mine won't start a wash cycle. In rinse and spin cycle it will rinse, but not start the final spin. I've tried new stator, logic board, and water pressure sensor

@@ericc8895 I get 11.8 Ohms across all pins. Too much of a coincidence it is the same on all three so I think it is good even through some sites say it is supposed to be 6 Ohms. My Samsung is WF395BTPAWR/A1 and the stator part number is AP5583744. I ordered the hall effect position sensor and hope that it clears my b3 error

@@alexisdavis1507 I'm not sure really what is the fix, I gave up and sent it to the junkyard with all the new parts in it. Waisted $180 on the damn thing and still did not work. I hope you have had better look.

My washer will attempt to start a cycle, but only locks the door, attempts to pump some water out, the drum rocks about a 1/2", and then I get spinning dash lines on all four LCD numbers. I tried hard resets (unplugging), and even tried to calibrate it through Samsung troubleshooting texting but nothing worked. Seems like a motor issue to me. Will a brand new motor/stator and position sensor likely fix this?

What is your model number?

@@appliancepartspros WF45N5300AW/US. Can't seem to find any error code that corresponds with the 4 dash lines rolling in circles on the LCD display. Some others have had similar issues and there doesn't seem to be a conclusive fix. Some have placed the motor/stator and it fixed it, others have replaced the control board and that also fixed it. Not sure where to turn next other than buying a replacement (can't believe I have to do that after 6 years of very light use)...

You can test the stator for between 4 and 6 ohms of resistance on any of the 3 terminals. If those check ok then you would need to replace the control board.

Samsung told me to buy a new washer because the repairs would cost more then a new washer.....bought a new replacement motor for 65$ on ebay. Problem solved
