Reversing Frigidaire (Bronco) Top Freezer Refrigerator Door

Thank you so much, I recently had a new fridge delivered from Lowe’s and didn’t realize door swing was on wrong side till delivery truck was gone. They couldn’t come back for 3 days and with food sitting in coolers I decided to do this myself. I’m a 66 yr old female that weighs 106# and with help of thus video I successfully accomplished the job. Biggest help was explaining what tools are needed before you start. Thanks so much great help!!!!

This installer did not check bottom gasket operation. I Did exactly as prescribed. When I did it, Gasket on main fridge door was catching on edge of refrigerator face. Had to pull bottom pin mount flange out a little. Not sure if I was able to get a good seal. Disappointingly complicated, with questionable end result. I have to monitor future fridge gasket operation.

This was simple to follow. Unfortunately all the screws on my fridge were striped.

My rubber seal won't let the door shut on it's own after changing the door. You have to push it closed.

the doo seal on some fridges are memory rubber and may not seal properly wehn the door is realigned. way to reset the memory seal is to heat it with a hair dye/blower untill it is soft and warm. Then close the door and leave it closed for , say 15 minutes

My problem exactly. Had to tip fridge up, work from underneath, and pull forward (a few millimeters) the flange mount for bottom pin. Easy enough, but video guy didn’t even check his fridge gasket.

That isn't necessary. You can follow the instructions based solely on the audio. But the video is nice to have. It's a very clear and concise walkthrough.
