On mine the tub has a clamp that goes all around the tub right where the white portion meets the rest of the tub in your video. It was leaking from there when I did a large load and especially during the spin cycle. I tightened the clamp with a flat head screwdriver and no more leak!

I freaked out when my Maytag started POURING water out the bottom at then end of the wash cycle. Watched this video which REALLY helped me get the front off my washer and found the the bleach hose had just come off the bleach pocket! That's all that was wrong. I put a drop of super glue on it to keep it on the pocket and now it works perfectly again! Thanks so so much!!!!

Just thought I'd add that it's good to check the end of the rubber line for wear. If there's enough slack in the tube, you can cut off the worn/cracking rubber and work with new tube. 😁

What a great service you offer. I bought two new clamps this AM and everything is now dry. Cost $3.00. I used Loctite to try to stop the threads from unraveling from the vibration. The unit is 30 years old and this is the first service. When it finally dies, what brand and type do you recommend? Thank you very much.

I have a Maytag Washer with a Serial No. 13421123 QK and a Model No. LAT5005AAE that is leaking water and a lot of it. Would it be the hoses like you explained or the bearings and seals?

Hello Anne, Yes that is a possibility. Check your hoses and see if any water stains are around them. Also, look at the pump around the shaft seal for water leakage.
