We need a better emergency system to respond to accidents. WE need paramedics stationed at particular zones so they can respond to highway/road situations on time. "Passerbyes" or persons on the scene without proper training, should not as much as touch the injured. They could possibly make things worse and bring a lawsuit on themselves.

I agree that we need more functional emergency services in Jamaica. We also Ned to have laws for drivers who caused accidents because of careless driving. If a driver is found to have caused an accident where people are injured, 10 years mandatory prison sentence and drivers license revoked for life. If the accident results in death. 25 years mandatory prison sentence and license revoked for life. It may sound harsh, but some examples need to be set so drivers understand that their careless behaviors will not be tolerated.
