I have just 1 question. Is it too late to start a career in data science. I have been doing bug bounty(finding bugs/vulnerabilities in websites) for over a year now and iam really interested in data science and machine learning. I graduated in may 2019 and since then i have been doing bug bounty i have had no job. I know that it can take upto 6-7 months to learn ML and DL. Will the career gap affect me to get a job since i have a career gap and i will be a fresher in the field.

Given that you have been working on finding bugs in websites, that would count as experience in website testing. It is still very possible to learn and transition to careers in data science and machine learning if you put in the necessary efforts.

@@AppliedAICourse Growth of SDE is exponential and it is the highest paid career in IT field. Even for fresher but ML is just opposite.

That’s not always true. At most companies, at the same level, ML engineers and scientists make more than SDEs. We do agree that there is good growth opportunity in all career paths if you excel at it.

I feel you require more effort in SDE compared to ML to earn same amount of compensation and everyone know that we work for money rest is just bs.

You should commit to spend 10-15 hrs a week. Else, it will be hard to successfully learn and transition to careers in ML/AI.
