Thank you for the informative video. I filled the form online and booked my appointment. I got this message "Please bring your original documents to the Certificate Counter at your respective sub-division for verification on any working day between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm with in 7 days. ". Does this need to be done before the date of the appointment or it can be on the date of the appointment ?

Thanks for the video. At 16:12, in the witness details section it asks if Applicant is from Delhi, against Residential Locality. 1) Is this for the witness or for me, the applicant? 2) Applicant is from Delhi, witness is from Gurgaon, should one choose Delhi or Gurgaon here?

@gayatrichandrasekaran - Thank you so much for watching the video mam.. that option shouldn't have been there because we have entered all the details about husband/wife or applicant and we are filling the information about the witness. In that case there should be details about witness only.

Hello Sir, Thank you for the video. Can you please help me with few queries? Is the process same for special marriage registration? If my permanent address is in Kolkata and I am staying on rent in Noida and my bride is from Delhi and the marriage happened in Delhi,..... which state portal should I use? If am using Delhi portal and my residence after marriage will be Noida, will I put the Noida address? Will my wife's surname change happen in this form only or will it happen after this registration using another process? It would be very helpful if you respond. Thank you.

@RanjeetSingh-yt9kn You can use the Delhi portal as either the husband or wife should be from Delhi. Both before marriage and after marriage addresses are asked on the portal. Your wife surname also can be change in this form.

Or sath me apko un dono witness ko b lekr jana hoga jinki details aap online submit krenge. Wha Jane k bd aap k document verify honge or higher authority k saamne aapko present hona hoga. After 10 to 14 days you will get the marriage certificate..

you have to take acknowledgement receipt which you get after submitting the online application and original documents which you have uploaded in your online application.

hello @ABHAY MISHRA Yes you can reschedule the appointment.... First you login into edistrict by using your credentials after that you can see your profile... Just click on service specific ➡️department of revenue ➡️ marriage registration ➡️then click on Fix Re-Appointment..... after that you can reschedule your appointment..
