Normally im quite fond of life hacks videos, but in this case ive just bought a small knife sharpening station from Fiskars. All my kitchen knives are super sharp. I have a question though... I also have a genuine Katana samurai sword, and the edge is sharp, but not surgeon knife sharp, how do i get it to be as sharp as a surgeons knife?

You don’t go back and forth across a blade to sharpen it. You go one direction. Back away from the edge. You’re pushing that burr back.

Learn to freehand.. get a decent couple of whetstones... never use a solvent as a lubricant.... then buy a good knife and a strop. That knife is still dull.
