Hello Markus, great and a simple video! Thank You. I have a doubt which is that ' Is it mandatory to upload the language certificate (IELTS, TOEFL) while applying the VPD for Masters at TUM (Winter 2025 Intake) or can we submit the language certificate later directly to the University ' ?

Heyhey. Only upload documents relevant for the application for the VPD. Not required are, for example, a copy of the ID, motivation letters, essays or language certificates. :)

Hello Markus. I have HND in public administration and I am trying to further my education in Germany with Uni assist. Please how do I fill out my details since it is not Bachelor degree?

My uni-assist screen looks different - 5 pages of information to enter. But I can't enter it because it freezes every time I enter my birth date. Multiple browsers, trying for a week, and uni-assist is not helpful in resolving this other than "keep trying". Any ideas?

Uuuh that sounds difficult... (Probably things you have already done like going to an Internet Cafe or going to a friend's place and trying it with another computer).

Hi Markus! I'm gonna apply for winter semester (my semester start from october 2025), however when filling uni assist form the my uni options only available on summer semester. What does it means? Is it same? Thank you in advance

Yeah don't worry about it. TUM only needs the document you get in the end of the process as far as I know. So you can apply basically for any semester no matter in which you wanna start

I want to apply to University of Cologne for Winter intake 2025/26 but uni assist doesn't show the university under winter intake for VPD application. Do we have to apply for summer intake to even get a vpd for winter intake?

You can just apply for the VPD. I looked it up on the UzK website and it doesn't matter from which semester the VPD is, so do the VPD and then after that apply with the documents you received again in the application portal of UzK :)
