Hi Ananya! Thank you for watching❤️ If entry requirements for HSC are not on the university’s website, it usually means that they only publish the most common Indian board applicants (CBSE/ISC) so you’ll have to reach out to their admissions team through email (can usually be found on the same web page). They will revert with your specific entry reqs. Unis not accepting HSC AT ALL is pretty unlikely. If you still have any doubts I’ll see you in the comment section again ;)

It would mean so much if you could share my channel as well :) When you enter your grades into the Education section, there is an option for “other qualification”. We are not expected to convert our grades into A levels, the British qualification. Hope this helps

Hello! I applied right after 12th grade so I'm not very sure about the Direct Entry application process. I suggest you approach agencies like SI-UK, TC Global etc. as they will advise you based on your specific situation.

Only 6-8 Unis require LNAT- there are plenty of Russell Group uni rated very high for law that don’t require it. I suggest you apply for 2024 intake unless you have other reasons to take a gap year!

If you use Clearing , you won't be able to take a gap year as it is for 2023 intake + you'll be applying for left over seats so you might not be able to apply to your preferred uni if they're out of seats. Applications for 2024 intake open on 16th May 2023 ( tomorrow )! As this is for 2024 intake, you will be able to take a gap year. You also already have your results so all your uni offers will be unconditional i.e you wont have to wait to write any exams and confirm your spot after.

UCAS Clearing opens on July 5th for the 2024 intake (UCAS Clearing is for vacant spots left over after the regular UCAS deadline passes). If you do not find a vacant spot for your preferred uni and subject, you'll have to apply for sep 2025 intake when UCAS opens again.

I believe centre numbers are only if you have linked your application to a school / have attended a UK school. It must be an optional field so you can skip it as long as you have mentioned your Board, School name and the name of the exam you sat in 10th & 12th.

I am studying on a student loan so if finances are an issue , try your best to get grants/scholarships or take student loans that you can pay back when you start earning. To take the LNAT , visit their website and book a test in your city! Work experience is not mandatory!! Work experience on UCAS includes paid AND unpaid internships/ jobs like babysitting, tutoring, etc so include those as well :)

Not necessarily, personal statements are about why you want to study that subject and your academic and co-curricular skills that can help you in a university environment. If you demonstrate your interest in medicine well enough you won’t require work experience

The UCAS form for 2025 intake is now open and will be due in Jan 2025. You’ve got plenty of time to work on it, I’d recommend you make an account and start putting things together asap! UCAS doesnt require any examinations- only certain subjects like law have additional entry requirements so require exams. Centres to book yourself one of these tests can be found on the test’s website

Please just call me mamatha :) Read the information in this link carefully to know how to enter your board qualification for grade 12 - qips.ucas.com/qip/india-higher-secondary-school-certificate You may also title it HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) and enter your specific state board under “Awarding Body”. 1. Yes, the deadline for September/October intake for 2025 is January 2025. 2. UCAS only allows you to send your application to 5 Universities. If you don’t get any offers, you can add one more choice using UCAS Extra or UCAS Clearing(after 5th July)

No worries! A lot of state board students go abroad and so can you. I was 17 when I got accepted too so age is not a problem either. Focus on achieving high grades as it is necessary for state students to show them. I’ll try to make a video about finances soon but in short - Student loans are always available but you should apply early and scholarships depend on universities and course subject :)

Have you sent your application already? you can enter them manually into your Ucas application OR email each uni regarding submitting your predicted grades mentioning your UCAS ID. Don’t be afraid to email unis they respond actively!!

A simple google search or even Oxford’s own website will tell you that they do not accept state exam results. Agents like leverage edu are sometimes very untrustworthy. Please be careful with them and as I said in the video- only use the official websites of your preferred unis!
