I believe centre numbers are only if you have linked your application to a school / have attended a UK school. It must be an optional field so you can skip it as long as you have mentioned your Board, School name and the name of the exam you sat in 10th & 12th.

If you are filling an application without linking it to your school (which is okay because most Indian schools do not have a buzzword) You need to ensure that your referees are including your predicted grades in their LOR or preparing a separate document for your predicted grades with the school letterhead. Make sure that these are ready before you enter their details in the references section because they will email them asap to collect the letters after you apply. As for the education section, since you have not yet sat the board exams, enter your year of examination and subjects and list them as ‘pending’. When you do receive your grades, since UCAS only receives A level marks directly from the board, you will have to email each university with your final mark sheet and cite your UCAS application number.

1. Yes, the deadline for September/October intake for 2025 is January 2025. 2. UCAS only allows you to send your application to 5 Universities. If you don’t get any offers, you can add one more choice using UCAS Extra or UCAS Clearing(after 5th July)

If your application is linked to your institution through a buzzword- your teacher should be able to upload your predictive grades and LORs. If in case of technical issues, the school must email UCAS. If your application is unlinked, you simply have to enter your teacher/s contact and email details in the “References” section. UCAS will then email them to ask for your predicted grades and references - not sure if this is through a link or just attachments

If you use Clearing , you won't be able to take a gap year as it is for 2023 intake + you'll be applying for left over seats so you might not be able to apply to your preferred uni if they're out of seats. Applications for 2024 intake open on 16th May 2023 ( tomorrow )! As this is for 2024 intake, you will be able to take a gap year. You also already have your results so all your uni offers will be unconditional i.e you wont have to wait to write any exams and confirm your spot after.

Great question!! For 12th marks, enter the name of your qualification (board), year of examination and all your subjects. You do not enter any value for the marks- simply leave it blank/0/pending. Your predicted marks must be provided by your referees. They will receive an email from ucas after you’ve submitted your application asking for your LORs and predicted mark sheet. speak to your teachers then and make sure they complete the “References” part of your application.

UCAS Clearing opens on July 5th for the 2024 intake (UCAS Clearing is for vacant spots left over after the regular UCAS deadline passes). If you do not find a vacant spot for your preferred uni and subject, you'll have to apply for sep 2025 intake when UCAS opens again.

Hi! It depends on if your application is linked, by buzzword, to them or their institution (if you’re using an agency). If not, it’s most likely that you’d be an independent applicant and would need the schools letterhead and your teachers’ email IDs

Hi Ananya! Thank you for watching❤️ If entry requirements for HSC are not on the university’s website, it usually means that they only publish the most common Indian board applicants (CBSE/ISC) so you’ll have to reach out to their admissions team through email (can usually be found on the same web page). They will revert with your specific entry reqs. Unis not accepting HSC AT ALL is pretty unlikely. If you still have any doubts I’ll see you in the comment section again ;)

Unis don’t charge individual application fees. UCAS charges a fee to send out your application to your selected 5 Universities and track their offers. Unfortunately for international students, there are no UCAS application fee waivers.

Great question! Of course you can :) First, make sure to enter your State Board Examination’s official name into UCAS. Then, find the Admissions/ Admissions Team email of the Universities that don’t provide information about your board from their website. Email them about your Board and how the marking system works- include your UCAS application number, name and birthdate and don’t be afraid to attach proofs from google (state board website for eg). If you have not started a UCAS application, you should still email them and ask for a grade requirement for entry from your Board. Admissions emails are very active so you should receive a prompt response. Also, make sure to ask your teachers to mention your board in their letters of recommendation.

Great question!! Generally, it’s advised to apply to 1 uni whose entry requirement is lower than your predicted grades, 2 whose reqs match your predicted grades and 2 that exceed your predicted grades. Since you have your grades though, I suggest you apply to 3 that you’re sure will result in an offer and 2 that are aiming higher. If the rest of your application (especially your personal statement) is strong, unis will be lenient more often than not, especially since you’re not very far off from the requirement. I used free resources available online! There are ample free practice tests online with answers and their explanations. You can also find sample essay questions for section 2 of the test. The official LNAT website also has a full length practice test. I found Ishaan Khosla and Eve Cornwell’s videos on KZbin very helpful as well.

If you are not planning on studying law you don’t need to take the LNAT. Only 9 universities in the UK require the LNAT to apply for a law undergraduate degree - Oxford, Cambridge, Durham University, SOAS, LSE, KCL, UCL and Uni of Bristol. You do not have to take the LNAT if your 5 UCAS choices are not in the above list. However you will compulsorily need to sit the exam if even one of the above unis are part of your 5 UCAS choices.

No worries! A lot of state board students go abroad and so can you. I was 17 when I got accepted too so age is not a problem either. Focus on achieving high grades as it is necessary for state students to show them. I’ll try to make a video about finances soon but in short - Student loans are always available but you should apply early and scholarships depend on universities and course subject :)

Only 6-8 Unis require LNAT- there are plenty of Russell Group uni rated very high for law that don’t require it. I suggest you apply for 2024 intake unless you have other reasons to take a gap year!

you can try your luck through UCAS clearing for 2024 intake. Unfortunately, the main application closed in January
