If you're having to guess if he's Mr Right, two things are happening. (1) You're not putting your trust in God and looking to him as your source of identity, and (2) You're making potential Mr Right, the idol of your affections. God reminded me recently, that my old mind is still susceptible to a good distraction. He compared it to my new understanding - having experienced the complete peace God bestows when He delivers. There is no confusion and no doubt. Only peace. A good distraction on the other hand, has no substance. God isn't sustaining the connection through an overflow of his perfect will. Instead, you're left sustaining the image of your idol and it drains you. God gently reminded me recently, that my value is worth more than a pleasant distraction. So I return to his perfect will and word - and am delighted in it.

You say we might miss out on the person God has for us if we focus on certain traits we desire and not the important spiritual ones that the person God has for us has. I agree , but I remember the first thing on my spiritual journey of knowing God and making our relationship stronger, that what is meant for us we will not miss out on no matter what we do. After that moment of realization I didnt dwell anymore on what I lost or what didnt work in the past and that Gods timing is always on time not early or late. I know he will find someone who has qualities I desire at the same time he will fulfill qualities that I may of never looked at he knows I need.I will know because the Lord Jesus Christ will tell me❤🙏

A man who truly loves God 1st and has a great relationship with God. HE IS THE ONE. Some men can deceive a woman , by saying they love the Lord and start going to church and showing some support with you. Then eventually slowly ,eventually they stop. So it affects you , in reading God's word , going to church. Don't like to hear God's word anymore . THEY rather talk about the things of the world. So , unfortunately sometimes, you do fall short of God because of such men. You pray to God for a Godly man. When you feel in your spirit , heart and mind something isn't right. Then HOLY SPIRIT is letting you know it's not meant to be. There is a difference between a man of God , and a man of the world. A man shouldn't belittle , cuss, take revenge and anything else that isn't of God !!! Don't be with a man because you don't want to be alone or feel alone. In the long run. It's going to put you through a world of chaos!!!! Let God take control, even if it'll hurt you in the long run to lose that person. Better to lose them , than to lose GOD. God knows who belongs in your life or not.

I have a question to ask. What if you are waiting for a man who's name you keep hearing. And you believe that it is the person God has for you. { I have met him before. years ago. and I know he is still unmaried} Would it be right for me to reject all other possible proposals just because I am waiting for him. Here's a scripture that helps, but the short answer is yes, God requires believers to be with people who believe in Christ. Because fundamentally, if they are rejecting Christ, they are rejecting God Because Jesus says he is the way the truth, and the life, and no one can get to the Father except through him. Therefore if you reject Jesus, you are rejecting God. If you are rejecting God, you are going in two different directions (righteous vs wicked) and paul talks about this in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.
