@@Daily_Christian_Motivation Well, I see Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel as a whole, the story of Israel's rebellion with idolatry, God pours out his wrath on them to purge sin but does not leave them without hope. These four prophets had a focus in their prophecy, they said "Repent the judgment is coming", so Isaiah preached that the judgment was coming but it focused on the mercy of God, Jeremiah focused on the judgment and the wrath of God, Ezekiel focused on in the glory of God since the people had forgotten God and Daniel in the judgment and mercy of God but not only for Israel, for the whole world.

I've been feeling desperate to hear God's voice clearly. What He's saying to me in this part of my life, the road he wants me to take and how to walk that road. I've been struggling to not relapse into a specific addictive sin and it's a burden to feel like I'm being torn from His presence by my weak flesh. To hear God's voice has always been difficult for me; to differentiate between my own vivid imagination and Him. I wish with all my heart to grow in this area but am unsure of what else I can do but read the Bible and pray, but I do not feel like I progress.

It sounds like you're doing everything right by reading the Bible and praying, but sometimes it can still be difficult to differentiate between our own thoughts and God's voice. Maybe something you could try is journaling your prayers and thoughts, and then looking back later to see if there are any patterns or common themes. Alternatively, you could try talking to a trusted friend or pastor about your struggles and see if they have any advice. Thank you for sharing and I'll be praying for you.

I had an interview today for a job I thought was from God, but I didn’t pass it. I’m so lost and confused. I have no desires or passions to work toward and I don’t understand why God never gave me any.

Sometimes God may give you a desire or passion for something that you weren't interested in before or something you have not much knowledge of. And after some research or trying something out, you may come to really enjoy it or have a newfound love of something. The past couple of years I've been more interested in photography. Years ago I did enjoy using a simple point and shoot camera but was very casual about it. I wasn't a serious photographer then. Now I have a more professional camera, look at videos and books on how to improve, and God willing, I would like to use my photography skills to show everyday life, make people happy, show things others never saw before, possibly make a living off it and not just as a hobby. I enjoy street photography and portraits whenever I can get them. A married couple who are cops just joined my church group; they run a portrait photography business on the side and I would like to get to know them better, learn from them on running a photography business and help each other out. It doesn't look like a coincidence that I met them.

If God wants to help that's even better, but too many people wait for some sign that never comes and then they grow resentful. I am poor, ugly, fat and bald. I have a small %$#@ as well. I could pray for money or to lose weight or grow hair and a larger %$#@, but that wont happen. We are all just little specs of dust to God and we will return to dust from where we came.

Mark, I like your videos a lot. Edit: this is my issue with point 1: But the Bible has different commands for different categories of people some of the time. What you said is either a generalization or an over simplification? Both? Anyway, some commands (most?) apply to all humans, some don't apply to every human on the planet. Thank you for the work you've done. I'll continue watching now.
@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger2 жыл бұрын
I think you are being too legalistic :) Commands are always true and they don't need to be applied like a principle. That was the point. Yes, if you want to be specific there are categories, but did you want me to make a 20 min video explaining all that? I can't go down every rabbit trail :) The simple statement made the general point I intended to make. So yes, a marriage command is not for singles or a command to a pastor is not for congregants, but the statement that they don't need to be applied is true, because principle do need to be applied differently. And in a sense, even if a command does not relate to you, its plain meaning still stands and applies to its intended audience. So, agree to disagree :)

Hi Mark, Let me start by saying I appreciate your videos... even if they don't always resonate or I don't always agree... I'm not usually fazed. I just felt to comment.... I don't feel that Ming was having a go at you personally. You're response felt defensive & didn't open up communication or an ability to address his concerns. He complimented you on your videos & acknowledged that some of your videos are pretty generalised. I also don't feel in my spirit that he was being legalistic at all 🤔 I think the issue here is "communication" I believe he's asking for greater indepth content, rather than absolutes. What if you did a 20 minute video? Is that an issue? 🤔 I'm sure a lot of your lectures go for at least an hour, in your "Relationship University". Unfortunately a lot of teachers get stuck by their "cognitive knowledge", rather than the reality we have all had many different experiences, upbringings, world views & we all learn & perceive things differently. Love gets talked about a lot, but unfortunately not a lot of patience, understanding & compassion is always expressed 🥺 I feel that could have been a great opportunity to expand on your video, & also to be humble enough to understand where he was coming from, which in turn would help understand your audience & potential audience better. Iron sharpening iron, to embrace differences, rather than the only conclusion being "agree to disagree". Even if you disagree.... which is cool 😎 Is Holy Spirit giving you revelation on more effective ways to communicate what God has put on your heart to share? 🙏 That to me is a prime example of the lack of unity & division in the body of Christ, because of an inability to be able to effectively communicate & work through "challenging issues" in a mature way. I want to reinforce..... You are doing a great job Mark Respect 🙏 Keep up the good work mate 😇 God Bless

As someone who was involved in the service. I would recommend really praying on this. In my opinion with most people I served with. God has wired people with willingness to sacrifice for others. My experience is time in the military. But you have to have an honest self-evaluation of your willingness to give up your life for others. If you aren't prepared for that ( which is ok) Then you can become a danger to others or you'll hate the profession. Take care and God bless!
