Applying Alclad 2 chrome.

This video is to show how i apply Alclad 2 chrome, once you know the few little secrets it really is a great way to do chrome, sometimes it even looks better than the kits chrome platting.

Great tutorial and I have same products but it's highly reconmend using their gloss black and also it says not to shake the aqua gloss nor thinning it

When I was a lad in the early sixties my dad used to work nights and every friday morning he'd bring me home a matchbox car. One morning he handed me a motorbike and sidecar, all chrome... I'm building an old Katana atm, I'm seeing this chrome paint and my little mind is wondering if it could work? Could I build a chrome bike! A real one, that is.

nice video but yeah it's very very shaky and wobbly it's kinda annoying and hard to see how good the surface treatment is. Great work otherwise, I was dreading to use my alclad chrome and aqua gloss

Great stuff but I recommend using Alclads gloos black which is also a primer in most cases just to keep it all in the same family.

Wasn't that impressed with the ALCLAD CHROME, might try some others that came on the market, but we cannot be real fussy living way out here in OZ haven't had a lot of luck with safe shipping and nearest Hobby Shop to me is in Horsham Vic and they have a VERY limited range!

SMS are about to release a chrome, i will give that a try when its available.

It has to be sprayed very lightly over their gloss black base and their chrome turns out perfect. 1-2 super low PSI, light coats up close to it. Then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth after it dries, as it gets that powdery dust coating when it dries.
