Hi. I was on DLA lifetime award and transferred over to PIP last year, I got 0 points so my DLA stopped. I did an MR and still 0 and so I submitted an appeal with no extra evidence and I got a call a couple of months ago from PIP a few days later after submitting giving me Enhanced Daily Living (17 points) and Standard Mobility (10 points). Absolutely disgusting system I have never felt so humiliated reading the disgusting letters they sent me. The appeal officer said if I appealed it to court I’d of been given Enhanced + Enhanced. Keep up the fight!

Billy Gregg Thank you and, I will keep fighting. I am sorry you was treated that way. It really is disgusting the inhumane way we are treated when applying for pip. Just today I have received my assessment report that my wife applied for. The assessor gave me 11 points for daily living and 12 for mobility and I understand that it is just a recommendation and, they don't have to go with that. I am now waiting for the final decision and will come back on when I get it. I just do not understand why they make it so hard and then make you feel so bad.

@@williamroberts6294 Absolutely! If the decision maker agrees with the recommendation I’d still do an MR for the extra point to get the Enhanced rate for both components and a longer award. Next time I’m reviewed in 5 years I’ll be asking for both at the high rates and I’ll be asking for an ongoing award too. We need to stop this nonsense of them not awarding the people who are disabled and the people who fake it make me boil!

I was the same. They basically said because I work, I'm not entitled to it but I kept fighting! Today for example I'm too ill to work. I most do an update on here actually because the same thing happened to me. It's a system that wants you to give up every step of the way

@@emmafay9421 @Billy Gregg I'd be interested to hear how this played out for the both of you. I am currently in the process of Mandetory Reconsideration, and want to try to prepare for any eventuality! Did you both get Enhanced & Enhanced?

The pip assessment is actually an interrogation , as I found out this Friday just gone.. talk about stressful. Was even accused of being a liar😢😢. My basic human rights were violated God bless you, and good luck to you 😊

@emma fey thank you for your videos, they’ve been so useful. I’m currently at the mandatory reconsideration stage. I was wondering if you had any updates about your tribunal? X

Hi, how did you get on with appeal?
@williamroberts62943 жыл бұрын
Hi Emma. Can you tell me how long you had to wait from when you sent your forms in to getting your phone assessment. My wife applied for pip on my behalf in June. I had not heard a thing so my wife rang last week to see when assessment would be and she said we still had a long wait. I have sent evidence from the 3 hospitals I stayed in and other evidence. Here is how it all happened from start to finish. Very sorry but it is long. I have a heart condition I had no idea I had until March when I had my 1st heart attack while at work. I had another heart attack in hospital the next day. I was then given angiogram an then had angioplasty and was sent home after 11 days with a bag of medication. I was trying to recover so I could get back to work but then I had more chest pain and was taken back to hospital. I had various tests including another angiogram where I was told I had unstable angina and would need an urgent triple heart bypass which I had while I was in there. It came obvious to me at that stage that my working life now at 64 was over. My recovery is very slow with problems even after my life saving bypass. I have been hospitalised twice since bypass. My tests show I now have heart failure which is not as bad as it sounds and have lots more medication. I still have angina and I now have a wheel chair a Zimmer frame and a walking stick with my bed still being down stairs. I do get about but not without aids right now. I am truly honoured and blessed that the doctors and surgeons saved my life and when I fully recover I am going to enjoy life but, this pip is more stressful than my heart problems. Thank you Emma for sharing.

Hey William, sorry to hear about your problems, it is a lengthy process unfortunately. I basically think they just want you to give up with each step but don't give in!! I applied in Jan and didn't get my assessment until June. My sister said hers was taking a while so she called up and they offered her a cancelled appointment. You could try that? But they may lie through their teeth during your assessment so be prepared to fight. I went from 0 points on both to 7 points daily living and standard mobility through MR. I'm going to fight for that extra point through tribunal! Never let them win x

@@emmafay9421 Hi Emma. Finally I found your channel. I hope you are well and, thank you again for sharing. Just a quick update I had my face to face on Wednesday 6th October and then the very next day I got a text from DWP. Text said we have received your report. I am thinking that is way to quick. I did give extra evidence to the health assessor that I got from my cardiologist a couple of weeks ago confirming my angina and heart failure and now heart block. The assessor read my letters but did not take them. They already had the other evidence of my heart attacks and angioplasty angina and then bypass. My daughter took me because I cannot drive anymore and she came in with me. To be honest I am sicker than normal at the minute so I needed her to help me. I can tell you this. I have fought for my life every single day from my heart attacks and bypass and I will fight these people with my last breath and you are right I will not give in. I will keep you updated and thank you. You are an inspiration to people like me. Thank you
