Prof. Cooperrider, this video is a great source of inspiration. I'm surprised to learn that this video has been uploaded for 12 years and is still relevant today. I came here from a link that was included in our course. I appreciate it a lot. - Guru Penggerak Angkatan 9 (Indonesian Change Agent Teachers Batch 9)

Thank you David....and Peter D. It's 2017 and your words are inspiring my classroom and my new role as a dept. head. Our society is so stressed and polarized - your words are reminding us to stop the focus on what is broken!!! I am sending a bow to your wisdom. Prof. Stehlik, NYU Stern

Our team is reading Appreciative Inquiry. You may not remember me, but I was in the EMBA 1990 class. Would you consider talking to us via conference call to give greater insight into your book once we finish it?

Yeah like how to fire a bunch of front line workers and double the workload of leftover employees. Then use A.I. programs as applied psychology to make them see the "positives" of the change without them complaining... lest they be seen as negative or disruptive.

Well done for keeping the faith! Me too! The evidence from positive psychology (Martin Seligman) seems to suggest that emphasis on the strengths really works. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Joe.

had the opportunity to take this course taught by David himself...AI is "Druckeresque". it teaches us that management is aligning people's strengths with a shared purpose thus potentially making weakenesses irrelevant. not an easy task, many will consider it too humanistic..it is probably why Drucker and AI are not getting mass following. am impatient, but i keep the faith....

Something very cultish about this. The bizarre word salad language used by it's followers is reminiscent of E.S.T., Landmark cult movements.
