Hi, I watched your juniper grafting videos. Great work. I also grafted in the spring of 2023. Can I try to unpack the graft now in the fall of 2024? When can I remove the juniper from the parent plant. Thank you

Thank you for posting this work. What is your success rate when approach grafting in September? What is your aftercare?

It's a pleasure Peter! Approach grafting of pine and juniper is possible nearly all year round, But august and september are the months that cambium grows aswel. After care is just watering and fertilizing little. After a while i cut back on watering and fertilizing, check how graft attached if attached well i will remove a little bit of wood of the root stock so the tree will take over.
