Cudos again to the PM for his vision and fore sight in taking the decision to lengthen the runway at douglas charles this means that we can accommodate bigger and newer aircraft to our beautiful nature isle the whole esthetics and ambience of the airport has also changed and the airlines and the pilots are loving it they are already calling it paradise.💂🇩🇲🇩🇲

But I landed at Canefield a few times and it was never from that direction, it was the route down the mountain side with an abrupt landing at the bottom.
