Thanks for the update and images on Glacier NP outing. I liked a lot of the images, but the intentional movement of camera image of what looks like the burned tree stands ?? was really cool with a dreamy feeling.

Great video (as always), and it looks like it was an amazing Workshop! Going back to a place more than once can be critical. We had a saying at work that "Time spent in reconnaissance is seldom wasted." and that is why location scouting or returning to a spot is often key to getting what you want.

Awesome vid! Ever since I picked up the Z8 (thank you for your free settings file) and entered the Nikon ecosystem I've been a devout follower of the channel. I've got the 14-24mm and a few 112mm Kase filters based on your recommendations and all have been amazing. Thanks! Edit: Oh, and can't forget the NYA-EVO 60c bag (which I will be taking on a two-week trip to Japan soon) I love it already - and you're right, the top dry-bag makes all the difference!

It appears smoke is the new norm for the summer skies of Montana. It makes for some interesting light in the skies, but during intense smoke, views of the mountains may be extremely limited. It appears you were blessed with decent visibility to view the scenes in the park.

So you didn't see any bears, but I am curious, did you have any accidental Bear Spray discharges this trip?

Hello, and my sincerest apologies for an out-of-band question. May I please request your guidance as to which lens to get to photography pregnancy (personal use). I own a Nikon ZF with 28-75 f2.8 kit lens and I've had rather soft photos. I want to capture our journey and I want to invest in a prime. I'm confused between 35, 50 or 85 f1.8 S series lens. I am from India where apartments are small and light maybe dim due to clustered homes. Thank you and I'm sorry for directly asking for recommendation. :)

@@parthmaniar ask me anytime. I adore the 50 1.8 and I think you'll love it too. You can get closer and do details and blurred backgrounds, but even in a smaller space you can capture a person too. Congratulations!

@@HudsonHenryPhoto Thank you very much for your kindness and guidance. I am sincerely grateful for it. Would you recommend any other lens for the Nikon Z system that would allow me to capture our journey? Such as the NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena? Is such an expensive lens needed? My only concern is the small apartments would mean 135 mm zooming in a lot. Once you guide me, I will get the lens in the morning (it is 0045 here [IST]). :)

@@HudsonHenryPhoto, I wanted to thank you once again for the immediate guidance. I got the 50mm f/1.8 and I have started documenting our journey. :)

Hello @HudsonHenryPhoto, I wanted to give my feedback post using the 50mm for almost two weeks and taking over 1000 photos (yes, we are most excited). My honest advice to anyone from India would be to go for 35mm instead of 50mm, purely due to the size of our houses, especially in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai and such. I've had instances where I could not capture full-length photos due to the size of the room. Once again, thank you very much for guiding us, and we are sincerely grateful to you for your kind sharing of knowledge.
