If there were “fall” trees, I would love to see some kind of New England build!
@BERT.MCCR64 жыл бұрын
Honestly you could do it with a cloned version of the P&B since the route is free on Jointedrail.com. Make a clone of the month and bulk replace the billboard trees with seasonal ones of similar size. Joe loves seen people expanding his routes or building a route inspired by one of his.

Yes remember one of the standard gauge Maine Central route from with all fall trees by msgapper replaced it with Maine Central Portland Division.

I made a version of p and b that is based on Conrail but I will not be uploading videos on it because I don’t want to seem like I’m stealing content

With the whole grid at 45 degrees had to do with Rotated texture this happens if your missing the texture or the texture is faulty that has been rotated so it’s most likely that and that’s the best answer I can give you...,Great video as always thoe!

Whenever I need inspiration for a scene, I just hop into google maps and steal from the real world. Its kinda amazing how quickly you can string together a few scenes to complete an area.

If you do a scenic railroad I think Conway Scenic should be high on the list, it runs on former B&M/Maine Central Mountain division. The bonus if you did one of Conway Scenic is if it didn’t burn you out you could expand past what Conway Scenic leases and do from Whitefield northwest, or from the ME/NH border at Fryeburg/Center Conway line towards Portland.

Maybe you could put an abandoned boxcar or locomotive at the end of the MOW track, that’d look really cool! Also great job!

Joe, If you want some good seasonal textures and trees use roys tree's, tb tree's and grass, and wp textures like on the tane tidewater point.

I know a couple of house assets on the download station by Davesnow are seasonal, they look quite nice on a winter route. I think the main things I use for winter or fall is seasonal assets.
@BERT.MCCR64 жыл бұрын
I think your issue with the asset grabber is a “hit box” problem. Some assets have HUGE hit boxes while others are precisely around the model I’ve had that problem
@Chasetwalkerphotography4 жыл бұрын
Again, build the Essex steam train. This route will help you build the rest of the P&B.

Have a look at my valley western TS12 did have to get a couple things from external site, as for snow buildings look up David Snow did a lot of us shops most others seem to be us, some of the ones from one of the builtin were usable as well, most of the trees are a bit old though.

if trainz could figure in a way to lay track like train simulator and an easier way to get dem files in, i would be all in with trainz since i like the AI and terrain tools better. Because of you i have tried working in trainz and put a little work into a map but laying track on a multi-track main and the monster yard has been a pain since i cant lay down all the track at once in a uniform manner, my ocd can get the best of me also i tried looking for templates but none have worked. even though i have shelved trying my route building in trainz, i enjoy all things trains, thank you for the videos you make, and keep up the great work sir.

Hey Joe! I have an idea for a route you can make, a route of the UP line from Southwest of Missouri Valley IA (before Omaha) and around Denison IA. Having been along this route, I think it wouldn't be too far out of your comfort zone.

PLEASE READ I live in south Portland Maine and I’m at rigby yard right now. I would like to see you do more work on it your depiction is great but there are foreign engines. Not just pan am or guilford rail. I’ve see as far as Norfolk southern come here, and CSX AC4400CW here. Sadly the roundhouse is not but they do use the track for engine storage and repair. Also they have rails separating cars in an order as A B and C. A is used for trains coming in, B is used for rails going out, and C is used for waiting for confirmation. I would love to see more with this yard please! Most detailing on yard itself and an update on what’s been completed and a time laps for future. Thank you!!
@alexanderbailey31284 жыл бұрын
ALSO they do car pushing from tract to track just like a hump yard, but under trains own power.

I’ve got an idea for a scenic railroad route (if you want to do it of corse) Hocking valley scenic RR W/Hocking valley 33 (maybe #3) I know that you just finished up on the WK&S but this could go on the Wishlist? Just saying... Again this is if you want to do it or not, I’m not saying you *HAVE* to do it I’m just saying

Talking about inspiration....Would it be an idea to do a project where you are copying actual real world situations, by using Google Maps?? I started building Amsterdam Central Station and started building from there....There is so much going on around that area....There are trams..water ways....bicycle lanes....bridges..height differences...... Maybe an idea to recreate a world city for an future project?

@ApproachMedium4 жыл бұрын
The JR roads are from tidewater I believe. The rail stacks are TUME assets and they’re either pay ware or they’re not lol. I can’t seem to get a clear answer myself but I think they’re off his Avery Drexel route.
